I was asked to reflect on how the world looks right now and how we might make it better. While observing, I noticed that people aren’t always eager to do good. Helping one another seems like a huge effort for some, and when you do good, it can feel lonely or like you get nothing in return.
So why do good at all?
That question made me think. I wanted to inspire people to do good and make them feel like they belong when they do. From that idea, The Army of Lovers was born — a collective that believes in doing good. If we approached all our actions with love, respect, and unity, the world would look entirely different.
To communicate this idea, I developed a kinetic poster displayed on digital billboards throughout the city. The poster shows a blue screen of death — a recognizable image, especially since the Crowdstrike attack had recently caused Windows computers worldwide to display this screen.

However, the text in this visual (and the ones that follow) replaces technical terms with words about community and humanity. It’s about choosing to live by the core values of The Army of Lovers, resulting in a visual that represents the spirit of the collective.
There’s also a phone number displayed on the poster. I programmed it so that anyone who calls receives a text message with the collective’s core values and can listen to the manifesto through an audio message.
In addition, I designed stickers featuring the distinctive logo and A4 posters with tear-off slips containing the phone number, so people can call back anytime they wish.
